Vidstitch is an interesting app as it does not only offer you the chance of making stylish photo collages. It also provides an opportunity of mixing together videos as a collage and this allows for a lot of creativity on the part of the creator.

Vidstitch is a very easy to use and simple app. The app starts off with a list of its features which you can read through in order to get an understanding of the tools you will be offered in the app. Once you are done with the intro, you can jump right into making photo and video collages. The app starts off with a Frames tab. Here you can select the format in which the collage would appear. There are a total of 57 templates available and this provides great options for creating collages. From as little as a single picture to as many as four pictures can be used to make collages with these templates.

Once you have selected the template you want to use, you can move to the next step by tapping on the Select option appearing on the tab at the left of the screen. From here, you get the option of uploading pictures or videos for the selected frame. You are provided the option of either clicking a picture or recording a video directly through the camera or actually use already created pictures and videos from your gallery. You can also decide on the section of the picture that should appear in the frame once you have selected it.

The video collage creator offers the option of selecting the colors of the borders for the collage next. You can decide on the size of the border as well as the color scheme that should be used on the border. This is where you can really put into use your creative talents. The coloring scheme available is fantastic and therefore, choosing the right background colors can go a long way in complementing the pictures and videos and really help the collage stand out.

The finish tab is the final tab available in the Vidstitch app. Here, you can take a look at the finished product. If you have used videos in the collage, the app would take some time to render the entire collage. Once its done, you can see a preview to see if you have got it right. You can then easily share it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. There is also the option of saving it on your phone available as well.

The only issue with the app is that it seeks permission for accessing Contacts which makes no sense for an app that creates video collages. If you are sensitive regarding your privacy then this maybe an issue.
